Help, and how Night Gate works

In Saskatchewan, gambling help is free and confidential, by phone at any hour or through counselling with no referral. The second half of this page explains how the Night Gate desk checks the facts it publishes.

Where to get help

  • The Saskatchewan Problem Gambling Helpline is free and confidential. It answers 24 hours a day at 1-800-306-6789.
  • Saskatchewan residents can get problem-gambling counselling free through the Saskatchewan Health Authority, and no doctor's referral is needed.
  • In Prince Albert, the Prince Albert Grand Council Holistic Wellness Centre offers First Nations treatment. Call toll free at 1-866-765-5305 or at 306-953-7285.
  • SIGA Voluntary Self-Exclusion is requested at any SIGA casino and lasts from 6 months to 5 years. It bans the person from all nine Saskatchewan casinos, and nobody can enrol someone else.

Before a late night

The floor on Marquis Road runs 9 AM to 4 AM from Sunday to Wednesday. From Thursday to Saturday it is open 24 hours. Late at night, with no closing time in sight, it is easy to lose track of the hour. Before you go in, decide on a stop time and an amount you are prepared to spend, and keep to both. Guests must be 19 or older, the legal gambling age in Saskatchewan.

How the Night Gate desk works

Night Gate is written and signed collectively as the Night Gate desk. No page carries a personal byline, and the site has no named author.

Facts were checked on October 13, 2026, against Northern Lights Casino's own pages, SIGA, Lotteries and Gaming Saskatchewan and the Government of Saskatchewan. Each page shows that date. Distances are straight lines between map coordinates, measured from the casino's map point, so roads run longer. All of Saskatchewan stays on Central Standard Time, UTC-6, all year, and every hour on the site is Prince Albert local time.

The sky drawn at the top of the home page follows the clock in Prince Albert. It is decoration, not a forecast. The site has no forms, comments or accounts, and keeps nothing about readers except the colour theme chosen in the browser tab.
